    Post crown lengthening
I had a crown lengthening on one tooth (a front one). He cut BEHIND the tooth I had never even had a cavity and they have no clue how I got such a deep cavity without any trauma to the tooth ever. A week after the procedure I am going back for a fitting for the temporary crown but everywhere I read said you should wait for the gums to heal first. I still have a huge hole there (there were no stitches but he put a puddy type bandage there). If my gums shrink as they heal won't this mess up the fit of the crown? I was put on antibiotics but never received a rinse or anything which I also read about on all the websites. I hope this dentist is as educated as he seems
