Can felons hunt with firearm in Michigan?
I've heard that the legislature is considering a proposed law to allow convicted felons, under certain conditions, to hunt with a firearm after a certain number of years has passed. Is this true?

    Hello b:

I don't think so, because it's a federal law that prevents a felon from owning a firearm.

It's possible that some legistator thinks he or she might have a way around the federal law that Excon described, so I did a search for pending legislation in the Michigan legislature. Didn't see any such proposed legislation.
