    Help
I am currently released from county jail Jefferson Co. Texas.I am engaged to a woman who I was living with in Brazos Co. Texas we are having a baby and I want to know what my rights as a soon to be father are regarding being denied to provide and live with my family. My fiancé has 2 other children ages 10 &11 . I have been giving a 5 year probation term. I was not a residence of Jefferson Co. at the time of my arrest.I moved from that area in 2004. My probation had been revoked and I want to know can I be made to stay where I don't have a place to live? This was never brought up in court. My legal residence is really in the air because of being in jail I lost everything.Ineed to get back to where I was before my arrest.

    Hello h:

You SHOULD be able to live in the county of your choice WITHIN the state... If they won't let you just CHOOSE on your own accord, and they want you to request a transfer, then do that. If you do, they can't deny you.
