My step son lives with my husband's ex's mother in another state and she always leaves the toddler with my mother in-law or day care. We went there for 2 years trying to get custody and we had to go home so had to give up. We want custody very badly and they only want him because he gets a disability check but don't want the responsibility. They let him go to his neglectful mothers house who has 23 counts against her for neglect and other child protective issues. We need a lawyer that will take on our case and actually try to get him. Someone that can fight in a different state and can take cheap payments with a low down payment. I am currently the only one in the home that has an income and I have a lot of responsibility and bills. Please someone help, this baby thinks hs daddy is dead because that's what they put in his mind.

Have you tried legal aid or free legal representation?

If you can prove what you have said, go BACK to Court. You should be able to go, file the papers, return for hearings. You spent two years in Court?

You need an Attorney wherever the child is.
