This link will help "big time." The trick is to lower the sub-frame, in order to free the lower control arm from the ball joint: https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/cars-t...ml#post1691894 While you have the steering knuckle off, consider replacing the wheel bearing and lower ball joint. |

I have a 2002 c230 Mercedes and was told by the dealer I need to have the right lower ball joint/control arm replaced. I have 150,000 miles on my car. Need new front brake pads and rear pads and rotors. But have no noise or shaking when braking. What do you think? Second opinion?
