Rain water seepage between the walls.
My neighbor house wall and my house wall does not have open space between the walls from the first floor. He did build his first floor house without gap. He completed his house construction, plastering and white cement painting also. After that I consructed my house, my house. There is no gap between the walls. I have constructed first floor and 2nd floor. After one year in the 2nd floor wall there is a rain water seepage during the rainy season because the hair line gap developed between the wall because the neighbour wall is painted with white cement already before out construction.

In the 2nd year the water seepage spread over to the first floor also.During the rainy time the 2nd floor was completely wet, now it is almost 2 weeks over, the seepage is spreading to the 1st floor was also now. The 2nd floor was is slowly dyring.

My question is the seepage in the 1st floor wall is due the 2nd floor wall seepage water is slowly spreading or may be due to some other reason. Will it happen after two weeks of rain stopped.

Please some give a reply to my mail it will be very much useful to solve my confusion.

    Thanks and Rgds,

    How about some exterior pictures...
