    Who legally informs the debtor of garnishment and how?
    I have rec'd garnishment against my wages but did not know about it until my employer
    Deducted $ from my check.

    Hello b:

    Nobody is required to inform you. You found out about it the legal way - no paycheck. Check your bank. They could have seized your account too, and they're not required to warn you about that either.
