    Cancer or herpes ?
I haven't been sexually active in a few months but always use protection and haven't had multiple partners, but I keep getting these painful bumps that turn into open sores. I really hope it isn't herpes, so can some one with experience please help? I am just waiting for a doctor appointment but want to know what I'm getting myself into. There are three in completely different areas. They come and go and I get swollen lymphnodes. They turn into a little deepend sores and hurts for about a day then goes away. But I have had at least one the whole time. They don't have a head or anything it's just a bump (round) that turns into an open sore. :(

It sounds as though it is possibly a STD. See, just because you use a condom it does not mean that you will NOT get STDs. The condom only covers the penis. With Herpes the virus can be on the testicles or in the groin area, both of which are not protected when wearing a condom.

It is important that you visit your doctor as soon as possible to have this checked out.

I've had check ups by a gyno and all seems well, but for the last 5 or so years, I have had a bump show up on the hair area down there. It shows up maybe 2 or three times a year, so I always forget to ask about it at the gyno. Once he saw it and said what is that, and I said I don't know, and...
