Medical problem, I'm hoping someone will know what it is:
About a month ago I was diagnosed with Ovarian cyst. Im young so I was shocked. I could hardly get out of bed and the pain was the worst I've ever felt. But then a week later the pain was gone and I was recovering well. A few days after that I felt pain in my lower back. I felt a lump and I went to the E.R. like my doctor advised me to. They said that I had another cyst on my lower back but no one knows why. Also I supposedly my hormons are unbalanced and have been for about a year (my doctors guess), I gained about 15 pounds but now I just lost 10, I'm at a healthy weight but I have no idea what is going on. I just sleep all day and I'm tired no matter what. I've been out of school for a month now and I'm afraid I'll have to retake my courses, I hope someone might have the answer or at least some suggestions.

Hiya
I suffer the same but I get my cyst on my face well all over my body but mostly on my face, I've been suffering with this for about 15years now, sleeping all day doesn't help and the way your feeling is a factor, they get worse when you get run down, have you looked at your diet?? When I went through my diet I found it to be cheese and chocolate and eggs that helped bring on the bad 1's, I can tell you, you can get over this you just need to make some adjustments, can I ask would you be a big bath user? I used to be but I also found that the hot water brought out big ones on my back and on my bum :/

The doctor thought I could be my diet too, but I'm a strict vegetarian and I also take multi vitamins, but I eat A lot of chocolate haha. So that is a possibility. And actually no I'm not a fan of baths but I have been using a heating pad for a long time now? I always had back problems but never a cyst.

Omg I think we're twins as I have back problems two LOL I use a ice pack to help with my back as I found the heat packs brought out bad 1's too!!
It has been a long search for me as too why my skin is this way and I'm young I'm only 27 and I've suffered a long time with this, cyst happen at any time of life its what triggers them is what you need to be looking at, it maybe too much of a certain vitamin you have in your system that is making your body react like this, I found eating and using lemons in my diet and my skin rotine has helped a lot, has the doctor giving you any medication?

Haha maybe. And yes, he gave me codaine and vicadine. But I don't take them unless I need it because its extremely strong. I had extreme pain a few weeks ago but now it seems better, but still there. And I will go eat lemons haha.

Yes I started one about a week ago. But I won't be able to see my doctor for another week because he is put of the country. My main goal is to get enough energy and to be pain free so I can go to school.

Can I ask how old you are and would you be worried about your peers teasing you when you return to school?

Ok first is there online tutors to help with your course work or a pupil that can help you out as that will be affecting you, the simplest of things can stress you out and that will bring out the cyst...
Your not going to like my first rule but it really did help me, No chocolate for at least 6 weeks.. If you feel the urge to have some have dark chocolate as it contains anitoxcidants.
Try keep notes of what your eating to see if you can notice a pattern
Eat blue berries and strawberries they also contain great antioxcidants and contain more vitamin c then oranges
Eat at least 2 brazil nuts a day
Try take a garlic suppliment as they help the skin
Drink plenty of water at least 8 glasses a day
