After running an electric blower, the outlet it was connected to with 3 other devices,shut off. There is no power to the outlet an additional outlet, the foyer interior light, the outside front porch light, a third room ceiling fan and an additional wall outlet out of three. All circuit breakers have been checked and some questionable ones replaced. Still no power in those previously stated locations. The outlets are not GFCI. Could be a problem with the wires that could have overheated during my blower use. What would be your suggestion?

Pull the outlet you think is first in line in the circuit. If it was wired using the "Quick Connect" holes in the back of the outlet, that is most likely your problem. Rewire using the screw terminals. The problem can be at the first non working outlet or the last working outlet. The problem can be in the"hot" connection or can be in the neutral connection. May as well do them all while you are at it. Using the "Quick Connect" terminals are notorious for bad connections after a period. Check switches also.
In your other post you stated that you have power to the box. If that means power to the outlet box, then the problem is a bad neutral connection somewhere.

If it was an outside outlet, it should have been a GFCI. It could be powered from another GFCI circuit. Have you checked the garage GFCI if you have one? Otherwise, I'd pull the outlets and look for a loose or burned wire. If the outlets are back wired, pulling a lot of power, such as with a blower, can cause the locking clip to loosen and the wire disconnects.

Thanks guys. I will get right on it. What I left out also was that the outlet was an interior outlet not exterior. Thanks again

No there's no power to the outlet. All circuit breakers were tested and none are tripped. Had one beaker that was a double switch in which we couldn't figure out what other things were connected to it. We re-labelled each one because some were not labelled correctly and found that there was one breaker that seemed not to go to anything that had power so we assumed it was the wall that everything was out on like the two wall outlets, foyer light and front porch light. The circuit breaker was not tripped.

Thanks guys. I traced the outlets(3 ea.) and started with the last working just like you said, and checked each box, and found the outlet not normally in use, the green wires were touching the receptacle. Once I retightened all the connectors which were not the "quick connect" re-installed all the outlets, turned main power back on, and presto all outlets were all in working order. Thanks for all your help.
