Purchased a Swylite LST200 to automatically control the 4 front lights that are controlled by single switch. Two lights have regular light bulbs and two are CFL. There are four wires from home that are not colored for some reason. One is a bare copper lines that I assume is the ground. When I connect up the four lines from swylite, I get power to the unit and am able to program, but the manual rocker switch doesn't turn on the lights. I have connected the red wire to ground and unit works with or without this connection.
    Can you assist?

You are correct that the bare wire is ground. All other wire will be colored some color. If you have a red wire you should have either three wires or five wires. Look again. The wires have probably been painted from spray painting the wall prior to installation of the switch.
