    2004 grand am transmission
    I have a 2004 grand am 3.4 auto trans not sure which one but stop at a light and then pushed on gas does nothing. Will go in reverse but no forward in forward feels like neutral

    Did the transmission fluid pickup filter fall out? It's only held in by a large O-ring. May be worth dropping the pan and checking it out.

My 2004 Pontiac Grand Am has developed a new problem. It has almost 83,000 miles on it and 2 weeks ago I had the gas pedal floored and my RPMs were going up, but my speed wasn't. It did it again this past Saturday. Any suggestions?:confused:
