    Trying to find a book I read a few months ago.
    It starts with a guy that heads to the farthest town in Alaska, goes out in the woods and finds a plane that's crashed. Inside everyone has been shot including the First Lady. As the story unfolds, it tells of a rift in time caused by a underground particle accelerator that the government has kept secret because items from the future are coming through it. A black ops group is in charge of keeping the items from being stolen by a rival group. A orb was on the plane the First Lady was on and it was stolen. It's the most powerful thing to come through the rift and at the end you find out it is a quantum computer that has godlike powers and can even predict the future. The man that finds the plane joins with the black ops group to get it back.
