    Punishment without any reason?!
Yesterday(19/2) at 11.30 p.m, I was watching a good movie: Jarhead. I got hungry so I took as snack. So I was watching the movie and eating a snack, when my mom enters my room, sees that I have a joystick of my Playstation3 on my desk(where it normally is). So she takes away all my joysticks(I have 3 of them), hits me on my head with full speed and power. She said: "Why the ***** are you playing on you playstation so late" I tried to explain her what I was doing, but she called me an liar. Now I may not play on my playstation EVER, not even to watch a movie. The question is: should I become a liar so she would be RIGHT when she thinks that I'm lying

    Tempting idea, isn't it?
I went through that with my mother, who accused me of all sorts of things. My favorite was being accused of having sex when I wasn't.
Somehow the fine line in your situation between playing video games vs. watching TV when the crux of the matter was the late hour just doesn't impress me as critical. Who paid for all those toys, you or your parents?

The answer to your question is: no. All it does is allow someone else to affect your integrity and honor. Be a good person despite what you go through with others.

    Hello X:

Sometimes, life isn't fair. You can't change that. But, you don't have to let it change you. Joy gave you GOOD advice.
