    What happens if you get a felony possession and get another one few months later?

    You get two trials and in a lot more trouble most places.

    Assuming the DA doesn't want to procescute both in the same trial.

    But that only increases the chance you are going to do time on one or the other if not both. Less chance they will want them to run concurrent in sentancing on separate trials.
