What must I do, if anything, to get my TV purchased in Greece to work in the US?
I have a SAMSUNG Plasma TV I bought 2 years ago while living in Greece. Is there something I can do to use it in the US? Or, is it only PAL and I need to buy a new one?

If its PAL... forget it. You can't make it work. But more important thing here... is this a older analog TV or is it a Digital TV?

Important because digital and analog use differing standards... in the USA the Current digital standard is ATSC for over the air... and QAM if its Cable, NTSC was the old Analog standard. In Greece its DVB/T, An incompatible standard.
PAL was the old Analog standard in most of europe (excluding France that used SECAM).

Found this, and looks like the frequency is 50 Hz in Greece, not 60 Hz like in the US:

Voltage and line frequency means little... the fact is the broadcast standards that TV is built for are totally incompatible with those we use here in the USA.
