Power Outage in Kitchen and other areas of the house
Our power goes out in the kitchen, the heat and our washer - all at the same time. We've reset the individual breakers and it doesn't work. We had to reset the main power to the house and it worked until this morning. Now when we reset the main power, those areas do not come back on. Any suggestions?

There is a defective circuit breaker, or a loose connection someplace. If you are not knowledgeable of wiring, best you call in a good service electrician to troubleshoot the issue.

I just had a similar situation from overloading a circuit, and a contractor friend showed me a fried ground wire (BX wiring) in the panel. He said I could have burned the house down. He also put half the plugs and switches on another circuit. You obviously have too many appliances on not enough amps. Assuming you have enough amps to the house and a new spot for a circuit on the panel, it shouldn't take very long to fix. Meanwhile, none of those 1500 watt heaters.

Saloomen,
Are you for real?
The cause and fix for the problem was the Power Company.
The problem was external to the home, why would you recommend selling the home for a poco problem? :)
