    Full-HD Television weird quality
I am having this irritating problem when watching some of my dvd's. Somehow the quality is weird, not bad though, just weird. Like when watching the show Emmerdale on TV. It just doesn't feel like watching a movie anymore. The feeling disappears. Is there anyway I can get around this or why is it like this?

Point to Keep in mind... Bluray is HD quality... DVD's aren't.

Are you using an upconverting DVD player... with an HDMI interface? That's the best you can hope for with a DVD, Did you check its setttings recently (the DVD player) maybe they changed to reduced quality settings due to power outage... kids or gandkids dinking around with it?. are you using something even lower quality than that?
