There's this guy in his early 30s who has never had a girlfriend. He's not attractive and seems to have some self-esteem issues.

However, he has a ton of friends (both male and female)and he drinks a lot. He's also very sensitive and relates very well to his female friends. I'm pretty sure he's not gay. He says he's not.

He seems unhappy that he's never had a relationship. I know his friends would give him hell if he is a virgin so that and the fact he drinks makes me think it's not possible. But it also seems like a guy who's gotten laid would have found more confidence to get a girl by now.
Could he possibly be a virgin?

Sure it's possible he's a virgin. And it's possible he's not. No one here is going to know if he is or not. And really, why is it yours or anyone else's business? Are you dating him? That would be the only way his sex life should be any of your business.

Are you intrigued by this man? Is this someone you want to pursue?

I'm just trying to figure out why you want to know about his sexual status.

Also, just because someone has never had a relationship, doesn't mean they have never had sex before...

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I want to know more about him. I'm curious about the fact he never had a girlfriend. The way he is, I would think he's a virgin, but because he drinks a lot it seems like he wouldn't be. And wouldn't he feel too bad in front of the guys if e didn't lose it? So that and the drinking makes me think he's not. But I'm still curious.

Jenna, how old are you?

Do you like him? Are you worried about him?

How much a person drinks has NOTHING to do with whether he/she is a virgin.

Some people like to keep their sex life private. He may be one of those people. It would be refreshing to meet a man who could refrain from kissing and posting it on FaceBook.

That you are 'curious' does not make it your business. What difference would it make if you knew? Would you pity him or tease him or be more attracted to him?
