    A thiller from the early 90s or mid 90s
    The only things I can remember about this movie is...
    This man & women met in a paintings gallery, he had seen her sitting there everyday just staring at this one picture. I can't remember what the name of the painting was but it plays a big part in the movie. They get married then that's where is goes bad. Everything was great for awhile. Her husband went out of town and that's when she starts the set up. Steels any thing that would be worth anything. She went to a bar and picked up a stranger, back at home she made sure it looked like she had been attacked and raped. Hung a softball from the ceiling and kept throwing and letting it hit her over and over. She then made the rigging from where they would find her hanging. Her husband comes home she gets in some beating but she shot him. She then used a jeep with a rope on the front of her jeep, gets her self tied up and released the cable and somehow it rolls back up on the jeep. SO when police come in she's hanging, beaten and had been raped and her husband dead.
    Hopefully someone can help me out here.

    I can't find any clips from The Beneficiary but it just doesn't seem like what I'm looking for. I'll keep it in mind as I try to find this movie.

    I think Quinn is correct - I found this on another ask type site - (I say spread the wealth!) and if you look at the clip at like 16 seconds, it shows her being raised up - (you said she managed to 'hang' herself?) - take a look: The Beneficiary: Information from Answers.com

    I'm so sorry Quinn F you were right. And thank you aliseaodo for that clip. Now I wonder if I can find it to buy it. LOL Again THANK YOU!! I've wanted to know the name of this movie for SO long. Now I'm on the hunt to find it to purchase it.
