It is illegal to employ a 12 year old.

When I was your age, I was a babysitter, house/yard cleaner, dog walker, etc for my neighbors. WITH THE HELP OF YOUR PARENTS, you can ask neighbors if they need you for any chores-based services. Please make sure your mother, father, or legal guardian is with you when you speak to your neighbors.

Try and see if your local newsagents will let you do paper rounds or u could always try chore-based jobs?? Jx

You could shovel snow, mow lawns in the summer, babysit, walk dogs, newspaper route, collect cans for recycle.

At 12 your options are limited, but there are things you can do, and any of the above are great to add to your resume when you're actually old enough to get a job. It shows initiative and that you're willing to work.
