I'm trying to find the name and/or author of a book I read when I was a child (1986-1988). It was about a little girl who in the night would go down to a pond where anaimals needed her help. There was a talking raven maybe a fish and something else. I think a witch was involved. I keep thinking it was the moonlight pond, the crystalmoon pond or something like that - does anyone have any ideas?

I've Googled a bit and don't find a title yet. The best thing to do is call or visit your public library (probably the children's department) and ask for reader's advisory help. The library has electronic and print resources to help -- plus librarians tend to remember storylines in older books they too read as a young person.
