    I was on a H2B visa during the year of 2010, am I eligible to claim EIC?

    Yes, you are eligible if your income is not more than the limit for your filing status. If you are single without a child, your income must be less than $13460.

    My visa was valid from March to November 2010, I am British and my income was less than my filing status. So I am eligible?
