    No taxes taken out
I work at school district filming sports events. I work only the amount of hours that I work. My first pay check was only 108$ and not a single tax was taken out. My dad says that I have to pay taxes on it at the end of the year. Yet I'm only going to make a total of 400$ or less. So what's going to happen?

Find out from your employer if you are working as a regular employee or as independent contractor.
If you are an independent contractor, you must file tax return if your income is $400 or more. You will pay 13.3% SE tax on your income. Your U.S. Tax Return: W2 vs 1099-Misc: Employee vs Independent Contractor.
