    Okay, this is getting ridiculous
I like to consider myself as smart, well composed 16-year-old however I have an annoying as hell problem that I can not seem to work out.
I like this guy and I have done since September, to me he is really cute and has an amazing sense of humour. He's really confident with his friends and is like the epicentre of the group and everyone adores him, he is very for want of a better word "nerdy" and to my knowledge has never had a girlfriend

We are good friends and we are both in the same friendship group, a few months ago my friend persuaded me to tell him that I liked him, so I did. And till this day he has still never said anything about what I said that day which is insanley fustrating because he acts like I never said anything and recently our friendship has gotten even closer?. just like ***?! Grrr anyway, recently at a party we were both very drunk this guy tells me that he thought something was going on between us because apparently he was flirting with me, in the morning I couldn't remember much the guy I like says that we kissed... why would he tell me that?! (slight chance I'm readng into this too much)

He annoies me because at least when he ignored the fact I liked him I could convice myself that it was because he didn't like me... now I just *headdesk*

My friends from another friend group have a very low opinion of him as apperently he is "stringing me along" but I really don't think he is because he is so not the type to do that. I desperatley want this to be a relationship or to end my crush BUT I cannot avoid him, we have the same friends and he is a major asset to my coursework so I have to work with him...

Im really exhasted of hearing his name, so many opnions, I just want some form of closure or just something!! AHHH! HELP ME!!

How about the direct approach and talk to him... when you both are sober. Drunks don't communicate, and often two drunks never see things the same way. Or remember things that well.

Especially very young drunks. One possible thing to consider is he thinks you just love his mind, and only need/want him because he is an asset to your course work.

It could be that he thinks you're just friends. Does he know about the girl you have a crush on? If so, he's probably assuming he doesn't have a chance because you're into someone else.

Listen to your heart , stop listening to what everybody say and listen to yourself. Be his friend first and gett to know him then you would feel comfortable to tell him how you feel!
