    I need to know my immigration status. I've been here since 1yr old and my mom is a citizen.

    Not nearly enough information. If you want an answer, provide at least the minimum.

    Find out from your mother, what if anything has been filed for you and when. Find out how you entered the US. Where are you from originally.

    I'm colombian and we both came to N.Y. In 1988 she put in her papers through an amnesty and she became a citizen when I was 15 in 1996 I had my working papers and social security card but never picked it up. Can I be a citizen?

    How did you enter the US? Were you approved as a dependent under the amnesty petition?
