Difficult problem. Even if you are using a pressure tank, at some point (five or ten minutes) it comes down to how much water your pump can deliver. If you have a tank, you can increase the pressure in the tank, but that won't last. Volume is your problem. My experience is that six heads is a lot. I use three in a zone and that works fairly well, but not spectacularly. So assuming everything in your system is working properly, I would think you will have to work with what you have.

The problem with the tank is this. Say your pump gets pressure up to 60# and shuts off. Then you use water for your sprinklers. As pressure drops, at some point the pump cuts back on. Here's where the problem starts. You are going to get no more water than your pump can supply from this point on. So, a larger tank would not help you. As for a jet pump, are you saying your pump is in the well, or is it above ground? If it's above ground, you already have a jet pump. If it's in the well, a jet pump would not help. A larger pump might fix your problem IF the well can supply that much water.
