    Paint is too bright
I just painted my living room to match my couch; which is different shades of browns and tans. It looks really nice. So, I decided to also do my kitchen. I chose a really pretty blue. The problem is once I painted the kitchen it actually turned out to be a really bright turquoise! I thought it might work, but being right next to my living room it looks horrible. Theirs just too much going on. Can I just paint over it or I going to have to do something more major?

If painted with gloss or semi gloss, rough up with sandpaper and primer first. Tint primer close to new color for easier covering.
