Does this mean he has a problem
My boyfriend and I have been dating for three years. In the spring we decided to take a break . It ended up lasting for seven months. In September we got back to together. NOw its January and things have been going down hill. We go out with our friends once a month and on those nights, he does several shot. And in result of this he blacks out and starts calling me a whore, slut, and the worst he starts bringing up my weight. Even though I weigh 140 we calls me fat, ugly. I am not sure if these are at all signs to a drinking problem or if he already has one. NOt sure if I need to include this but his mother is a recovering alcoholic.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Yep, he has a problem.

You have a problem, too... him. Remember, it's not the alcohol talking, it's him. The alcohol just turns off the switch that keeps him from saying what he thinks the rest of the time.
