    Can I take child tax credit?
    Hi! I am an H1B visa holder and I am trying to figure out whether I could take the child tax credit because my children together with my husband came here 8 months after I did. I came here Feb 09, 2010 and my family came Oct. 15, 2010. But it was still part of the 2010 tax year, though.can I take the child tax credit?I'm planning to file jointly with my husband.thanks.

    Yes, on joint return you can take child tax credit. Your U.S. Tax Return: The U.S. Visas
