    What is the problem when the ceiling leaks when the shower or bathtub is turned on?
    It is over the bathtub front wall and goes along the wall for about three ft by two feet

    There is a leak somewhere. Leaks can be really easy or really tricky to chase down. Without more info, you are the best person to chase where the water is leaking from aside from calling a plumber to look.
