I entered the PN program in July 2008 which was scheduled to end in May 2009. The Exit exam(final exam) has been given to us months after months with no review. Instead of giving the Exit exam from our textbook, the school decided to give us 4 different books to study from. I find it difficult to do without a review.We had to review it on our own. And these additional books were never written in our course packet.

Second issue. The school wanted the students to pay an extra $4500.00 if they wanted to continue to take the Exit Exam on top of the $13,925.00 that has already been given to them for tuition but, the students did not agree to pay the extra $4500.00, so the school decided to make us pay an additional $300.00 each time we fail the EXIT exam. Again, none of this was ever written in the course packet.

The EXIT exam written by the school has become a serious problem. I find it to be very disbelieving that when the exam is taken, no one passes. I feel as though the school is failing people on purpose just so they can keep collecting the students hard earn money. This is very unfair and something needs to be done because more and more students are entering the schools PN program; while, the students who are currently there are having difficulty passing the EXIT exam.

Was this a supposedly on line course? What school set up these regulations and course material? I don't know if you have a case or not. We could not give you that determination based on only your facts.

Here in Ontario, the RN RNP course is taken and if you don't pass it, you can't write the exam again. You have failed and spent all of that money. But regulations are regulations and if hospitals and other establishment need graduate nurses, then they are the only ones that will be hired.

Here in Ontario, if you don't pass your RN exam, then that is it. You go back to college and pay and do it all over again.

Sorry, but you can't say, everyone who takes the exam, no one passes.
