I sold my home in 2001 after having an accident, that caused PSD, Were the papers I
Signed that sold my home legal? I was not in my right frame of mind, obviously or I would not have sold the home because I had insurance on it, to where if I did have an accident and was out of work My payments on the home and insurance would be made for me... but I did not remember that,. due to the Postmatic Stress Disorder that I got due to my accident... I suffered darely for a couple of yrs and still due when I am under server stress.. and in the last 3 yrs I was diagnosised with ADHA... yet one more memory problem I feel is associated with this accident... So was I legally able to sign over my home at that time and if not what can be done about it now?? Can anyone help me?? I had this set up to protect myself and my boys and I feel it was taken from me by the bank and the insurance co. with out any reminder of the benefit... Thks to anyone... Peace and Love be with you!

After 10 years you will have a hard time changing anything. Did you not go through a closing with an attorney and did you not sign papers listing the house?

What does "having insurance on the house" have to do with anything, everyone has insurance on their home, required to do so, if there is a loan.

But the sale is valid unless you can prove, that you did not understand what you were doing. And ADHA is not going to do that.

Next how did the bank and insurance company take advantage of you? If you sold it, then you would have gotten any money resulting from the sale after mortgage was paid. What happened to that money

And at this point and time 9 years latter little can be done now.
