Six year old says a man is following her on the school grounds and swearing at her...
My six year old daughter has been showing many signs of anxiety the last few months since we put her in take care (I have since quit my job and taken her out). She has starting cursing under her breath and says she doesn't know she is doing it, she now has a tic where she tips her head back like swallowing a pill, and today her principal phoned to say she had an elaborate story about a man following her around the school ground cursing at her.

I don't know whether it's all mental ailments, behavioral issues on a possession!! Any experiences with this??

I'm pretty sure you can rule out possession. A trip to the doctor and a referral to a good psychologist would be my next step.

This could be anything from imagination to a mental illness to tourettes to just a weird phase - a psychologist and the school should be able to work together with you to figure it out.

The possession thing is weird - no such thing except on bad television. Unfortunately before people understood the brain, the attributed mental illnesses and neurological disorders like tourettes, or seizure related illnesses, on a person being "possessed" but it was only because science didn't understand the brain - we do today, though still not completely.

She needs to see a psychologist. I see red flags for a few things, including tourrets lmostly.

Also if you don't mind sharing, what medication is she taking?

Can a 16 year old man marry a 23 year old woman in Washington state? [ 63 Answers ]

Im 16 and my girlfriend and I have been talking about marriage laws since I've proposed to her. I need to know if it is legal to marry her. I already know the Washington state law that applies to 16 year olds, but it says nothing about marriage between two separate ages.
