    Hi my son is 3 years old me and his father cannot come into contact
    Hi my son is 3 years old me and his father split when he was 1years old there is a contact order in place where his father has contact with him atr weekends but social services are now saying that if me and his father can't talk they might start care proceedings they have no there problems with my son they say I'm a great mum to him and they are not worry about the way he is being bought up the only concern they have is that as my son grows up it might affect him that we don't talk, can they start care proceedings based on this?

    There is something unclear here... Why social services are involved for example.Generally CPS has almost unlimited power.

    It would help understanding your question if you would use punctuation.

    By saying that the father and you can't talk, do you mean that you are prohibited from talking with him, or is it more accurate to say that your personalities clash to such an extent that communication between the two of you is impractical?
