    What happens u don't pay restitution for a 487(b) 3??
    My boyfriend was charged with grand theft 487(b) 3 and was ordered to pay restitution 2 months ago... he went to court yesterday and didn't have the money so they locked him up on the spot. His next court date is probation hearing and sentencing, so my question is... whats going to happen??

    Depends on the Judge, but the chances are that he's going to jail.
