Go to a health clinic or ask if there are any churches who buy glasses for people who cannot afford them.

Sorry you're having such a hard time.

Yes, call or visit your public library or call an area optometrist/ophthalmologist to find out where the Lions Club dispenses free eye wear. If you have trouble finding out anything, let me know here.

If you go to the Homeless Health Center in Chattanooga, TN. They can issue you a eye glass voucher, which will give you a free eye exam and a free pair of glasses. You will get your exam and glasses from LensCrafter's and they don't just let you chose any ol' pair of glasses, they have glasses that have been donated to them that you can chose from. I was able to get a eye glass voucher 4 years ago and I am still wearing them to this day. I'm glad that I will be able to get a new pair of glasses soon! I wish you luck on your journey and hope that this helps you.

Here is the info for where I receieved my voucher and the address. Good luck in your endeavors, and I hope that you have or will be able to get a new pair of glasses!
