    Paternity test
A female and I had intercourse once and she had sex with 2 other guys besides me in a period of a few days. She is from Texas and I am from Missouri. Will a court rule in her favor to force me to get a paternity test even though we are in separate states and she slept with 2 other guys? What should I do? She was nasty to me and I don't want anything to do with her. Please give advice.

Yes a court WILL order that you take a paternity test. There may be an issue of enforcing the order, but if you refuse, a bench warrant will probably be issued that will remain on your record.

You ask for advice so here is mine. You need to take responsibility for your actions. You consented to having sex with her. You should know that sex involves a chance of pregnancy even if protection was used. So you man up and find out if she is having your child. If it is yours, then you take responsibility for that and be a father to this child.

If you don't want to be a father then keep it in your pants.

Yeah I am not saying what I did wasn't wrong that is why I am in a bind. I just wanted to know how hard is it for a court in one state to to get a court in another state to issue a paternity test

States are pretty cooperative in these issues. But all I see is you still trying to shirk your responsibility. Eventually you will have to face it. You say there are 2 other possible fathers. So lets say both are tested and come up negative. That leaves you holding the stick. The court may even name you the legal father by process of elimination and your refusal to cooperate. If that happens, its even more sure that they will come after you for support.

Yes you are right. I phrased my answer a little wrong I am not trying to shirk responsibility. Thank you very much for your advice!
