    Hunter remote installed. Light/fan going on spontaneously. Code changed. Now what?

    When you use the remote does everything work normally? How often does this happen. You say you changed the code, wher did you find the dip swwitches

    Yes, remote works fine when using it. Spontaneous fan and light turn ons happen every day. The electrician who installed the Hunter remote into the Hunter fan came back and changed the code.

    Did it improve after he changed the codes, what did he have to say about the fans operation?

    No, it didn't improve. Still have the same problem. He said we should try installing a new remote that is not a Hunter. When googling this problem, it appears to be common with Hunter remotes. Called Hunter. They said they would send new remote. Electrician is skeptical that this will work any better.
