    HIPAA Violation?
I commented on a posting on Facebook of a picture of a patient's diet order (but no patient identifiers were posted); I didn't even know who the patient was. Iwas just simply commenting on how funny the order was. Is this considered a HIPAA violation (me commenting on a post)? My manager said it was. If it was, why is it a violation?

No, by any far stretch of the imagination can that be considered a violation of HIPAA. No names, no numbers, no addresses, no patient ID.
