    Hair folical testing for methamphetamines
    How effective is the hair folical testing for meth. My 17 month old granddaughter's mother is believed to have been making and using meth. I was given temporary emergency custody of her as of last night. They have court ordered the mother to submit a hair folical test within 5 days. I'm also thinking of having the baby tested to see if anything shows up in her.

    It is the most effective method of drug testing, as well as the most expensive. Whatever goes into your body grows out in the hair. The only way to get rid of this completely is to shave your head bald, quit your habit and grow new hair.

    Shampoo cannot change the inside of the hair follicle where the testing actually takes place.

    Nobody Said That The Shampoos Are Going to "change Anything!" But Some Do Actually Work And You Won't Come Out With A "positive Result" For Whatever Drug It Was That You (weren't) Doing.
