    I have an old ring not hall marked could it be gold
    I have a ring that look like a mourning ring but it has no hall marks could it be gold or would it be brass worth nothing

    I'm not an expert, but from my understanding, all gold jewelry is hallmarked. If it's not, then it's not gold or silver, but something else.

    It's most likely brass or another material. That doesn't mean that it's not worth anything. If you like it than it doesn't matter if it's gold or just brass. Just wear it and enjoy it. :)

    Some of my favorite jewelry is cosmetic and not worth a penny.

    It could be gold depending on how much u paid for it to start with! I know my'n costed thirty pounds.
