    Balancing the Adjusted Trial Balance
    Can you help me balance by adjusted trial balance to balance. Can you help me figure out where I went wrong?

    Look at your line 29. You should have added the 25 instead of subtracting it.

    I thought I'd tell you how I found it, so you might find it yourself next time. First I added all columns to make sure your columns added the way you showed. When I saw they did and you were off by $50, I divided that in 2 to get $25. Then I looked at the entries for $25 to see if they were correct. That's the standard way to find mistakes. Also, if you are off by a multiple of 9 you look for transposition errors. For example, instead of writing 513 you write 531 - a difference of 18.
