Bank account garnishment
I know garnishment varies by state, and I live in New Jersey. If a creditor is owed #750, can they garnish two separate accounts each for $750? After bankruptcy the debtor is entitled to a $1000 exemption in the case of pre-bankruptcy bank garnishment. Is that exemption applied to garnishment, or debt?
