I have a double sink in my bathroom. I also have a shower stall (pre-construction installed). I would like to build a tiled walk-in shower where my double sinks are and where the shower is place my sinks and vanities.

There will be extensive piping to do.

The new shower would have to have the waste line coming up from floor,not out through wall.

The old shower waste could be used for sink, but don't believe u can remove trap and install a ''s'' shaped trap for sink. I am not a plumber, but I think an ''s '' trap is illegal.

One of our plumbers will be by to tell u how to go about your project.

You can use the sink drain for the shower IF the existing sink drain is 2" drain pipe. Here, you would cut the drain to below the floor and install 2" PTRAP and an 1.5" vent for the shower. The vent would roll above the centerline of the 2" shower drain and it would connect back into the sink vent. If the existing sink drain isn't 2" it should be easy to increase in size IF the pipes are accessible.

The existing shower drain could certainly be used for the new sinks. Here, the 2" PTRAP for the shower would be removed and the waste pipe run to above the floor where you would stub out piping for the sinks and continue an 1.5" vent upward to connect into the other vents of the bathroom. However, if the existing shower vent is in the wall near where the new sinks would be installed you may just need to cut/cap the shower PTRAP and then just cut into the shower vent for the sink stub outs and you would be done with that...

Anyway, no matter what, you can do what you are asking, for sure!
