1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 problems with HEATER warming the dashboard+window! Help?
The heater works fine... in the motor area.
But when I turn the dial and now the heat only comes out of the bottom and it won't come out of the dash and hit the window. It doesn't even seem to heat the cab. But there is enough heat coming, just not into the cab to the warm it. We have no idea what isn't working... help? The man who is fixing it is wondering the same question... |

I had the same problem on my son's truck just two weeks ago go inside the hood and check your vacum lines I had found a small vac line that was broken I just found where it came off and just put it back in and the heater control worked wright away it works with the vacum hope this helps.

Does the dash come out as a unit or in pieces?
Replaced heater core and thermostat had heat before replacing both now have no heat. Made a hissing sound after changing the heater core but had little heat changed the thermostat now have no heat at all. Checked the door for the heater core to make sure it wasn't stuck checked all the lines...
