    Do I have any 401K money due me?
    I worked for a company for 5 years and was told I would be getting 401k I resigned from that job9 years ago and have yet to hear anything from them regarding my 401k.What do I need to do to find this?

    1. you had a 401K with that company that you paid into?

    2. when you quit, you signed paperwork asking for a withdrawal ?

    They do not automatically mail you a check, in fact taking a check is a bad thing, since you will owe taxes and often a penalty depending on your age. Normally you role it over into a new place.

    But just contact the admin of the 401K, that is seldom the company but they use a firm that does that.
