New to concepts of law - idea case
Hello, I know very little about law and the way things work, but I have found an interest in it. I was hoping someone would be able to tell me what main laws or groups of laws that affect companies offering an internet service. Thank you

I should mention that its after over 90 minutes of wasted call time to Sky. Probably madness to look for holes in their terms and conditions etc, but as I'm not busy and am looking at different career choices, thought it would be interesting to investigate. My internet has been running slower than they have indicated and I'm not the only one.

What is your purpose in this? Do you plan to sue them, attempt to revoke a contract, something else?

I hope firstly to just investigate the things that they have promised and how they are bound by law, then if I can see any way of putting forward a case I might well try and get something done

Have you checked into whether any class action lawsuits have been filed?
