    Is legal for a future employer to ask you if you have a felony in Texas?
    I have read in most applicatio the question " have you ever comited a felony"
    So I thik is not descrimination(ilegal) but a fried of mine told me that they can not ask that question because that is descrimination. Please tell me if my fried right or wrong

    They can either ask outright or ask you to get a background check which will show up all prior convictions, which is legal.

    I think the question is have you ever been convicted of a felony, not have you ever committed one, been arrested for one, or been indicted for one.

    Yes it is legal to ask if you have ever been convicted of a crime.

    Yes, they may ask about conviction of a felony, some positions may even ask have you ever been arrested.
