Look locally. How would anyone get the data to you to input, if not on paper, locally?
I don't think such jobs are very common, except when an employee is allowed to take work home after knowing the company and requirements very well. I also don't think there are many simple data entry jobs anymore. Some that are still easy are the ones that have checks enclosed, so you would have to be on site.
Even medical transcription has in many cases gone to doctor dictation using special recognition software.

You might want to do typing (data entry) through a local college or university. For instance, many students need papers typed, especially for a master's thesis or doctoral dissertation. The transfer of documents back and forth can be done electronically. Editing would be a separate problem and effort to charge for.

Check with the institution regarding price per page. Two dollars per page was the going rate last I heard. If you get lots of typing jobs (once the word gets around) and are a fast and accurate typist, you could make some serious money.
